Flew to Portland, Oregon today. 7:15 AM departures are no fun. But, made it.

Driving in Portland is challenging because I don’t know the roads. Google maps is great but I couldn’t take my eyes off the road. If I did I probably would have hit one of the homeless downtown.

Staying at this AirBnB west of downtown near Washington Park. Hope to visit the Portland Japanese Garden Monday and then Tuesday through Friday, going to Mt Rainier NationaI Park.

I think I can find that mountain, I mean volcano. It’s the large lump with a lot of snow on top.

Someday it will erupt and a whole bunch of mud, water and debris will wipe out a lot of stuff nearly to Tacoma, over 30 miles away.
