Visited The National Archeological Museum early this afternoon. It was one of those museums where you go into information overload. It was the history of Greece told mainly by pottery.
I could certainly tell how the pieces became more and more sophisticated with time. There was even some Egyptian stuff. It was a good visit.

Made it to Areopagus Hill near the Acropolis to watch the sunset. Hundreds of people did the same. The hill is composed mostly of limestone but the rock I sat on was as polished as marble because so many people have sat on it over the years.
The hill has been in at least one Greek myth. Glad I made it this evening.

Had dinner in a lively part of the Plaka neighborhood in Athens. It’s close to the Acropolis.
Just had a Greek salad with bread and Greek wine. Watch out for menu items with “Greek” in the name. They may be overpriced just for us tourists.
Those are limes on the tree.
