Went looking for a restaurant for dinner but came across a Christmas market surrounding the old city hall.
So, grabbed a traditional sausage dinner with sauerkraut, potatoes and black bread at one of the food stands. The potatoes were good but the sausage wasn’t special. Had hot wine with it. It’s called glogg.

Went on an hour and a half walking tour of Tallinn early this afternoon. It was led by a good storyteller dressed in medieval attire. I think the guide’s name is Evar.
Tallinn has one of the best preserved medieval parts of town in Europe. Tallinn was founded around 1219.
Many of the stories the guide told were about nobles and merchants during those olden but not golden times. It was an interesting walk around old Tallinn.
The guide said the first Christmas tree put up in a public square was in Riga, Latvia. Latvia neighbors Estonia to the west. But, Evar emphasized that the first Christmas tree to be decorated was here in Tallinn. They used little candle lanterns.
