Today is a travel day. Up at six and out of my AirBnB before 6:30. Caught a taxi just down the street. The ride took about 30-40 minutes.

Charles de Gaulle Airport is huge and I’m glad I looked up which terminal to go to. I read somewhere that passengers need to arrive at the airport three hours early. I don’t know if that’s necessary because I was at my gate two hours early. My flight was at 10:30.

So, now I’m in flight with two hours to go to Detroit. This flight is just under eight hours long. I have three hours in Detroit before my flight to Huntsville.

Going through customs and immigration will probably take less than an hour.
