Visited Museo del Duarte, a museum about Juan Pablo Duarte, a founding father of the Dominican Republic. The museum is in his old house in Zona Colonial of Santo Domingo. There’s all kinds of stuff named after Duarte including the highest peak in the Dominican Republic. The mountain is also the highest in the Caribbean region. It’s 3101 meters high or 10174 feet.
There’s no admission fee for the museum and a guide will explain things but in Spanish.
