Breakfast for the foodies: cibeles.
See blurry photo of menu for ingredients. Came with a small, almost biscuit size piece of bread which was good for cleaning up all the salsa.

Visited the Museo Mural Diego Rivera this morning. The place has a 15×47 foot mural the great Mexican muralist, Diego Rivera, painted in 1947.
The mural shows political figures, a few everyday people and big shots of Mexican history.
Rivera painted flat figures, meaning the people and objects don’t look three dimensional. That’s not a negative comment. He had his own style and it will hold its own place in art history.
There’s another of Rivera’s mural in the National Palace but I had to go on an hour long tour done in Spanish and I didn’t want to spend that much time.
Have a good one.
Went back to Templo Mayor this afternoon. The museum was closed yesterday and if the museum is closed you can’t walk among the ruins.
The museum had a lot of articles recovered from archeological digs. And, walking on the designated pathways through the temple was very cool. Admission was 90 pesos or about $5.70 US.
Finally took the Metro most of the way back to my Airbnb. The line that would have gotten me to within a half mile is down so had to take two lines that got me to within a mile and a quarter.
Uber rides are cheap. Have taken three rides and the ride this morning with tip came to about 8$ US. Still, the Metro is far cheaper with a ride less than $1 US.
The driver did have to work for it. There were a few traffic jams. I got the impression the driver likes to drive and cuss so he enjoyed it.
Have a good evening.
Dinner for the foodies: tacos and a great drink. It was so good.
The drink had the glass rim coated in Chipotle powder, sugar and salt. That made the drink super.
Buenas noches from Mexico City.
