Still waiting for an outfitter to say the sea ice is clear enough for a boat excursion in Frobisher Bay.
They won’t go if there’s ice because the wind can blow the ice into almost pack ice that can trap a boat and even sink it from the damage it can cause. Lots of polar explorers learned that the hard way.
So, did a lot of walking today.
