October 11, 2024 – Tbilisi, Georgia

Visited several historic sites out of Tbilisi: a church on a hill near the old capital of Georgia, a old village in caves carved into a sandstone hilltop, another Catedral and a brief visit to the house where Stalin was born and spent his early years. Don’t know why that butcher of humans is honored.

This is the last day of the tour. It was through G Adventures. The group had people from Australia, Austria, Germany, Canada, US, and the most from the UK. Good group of people

Good tour through a very interesting region. Just wish the tour had been more days and slower.

Cheers

Stumbled upon a restaurant with two Georgians playing phenomenal guitar. Oh, and the food, beer and wine was good too.

So, here’s a sample. Excuse the bad quality.

Cheers and visit Armenia and Georgia if you get a chance.
