Busy day. Accomplished a trifecta of going up the tower of city hall with its 300 steps, visiting the National Museum and going on a canal tour by boat. Also, visited the Lego store.

Legos were invented in Denmark and after seeing how you can use them to intricately build anything I’m going to build myself a space ship in my garage.

The museum, tower and boat tour were covered by my Copenhagen Card. My burger at a restaurant wasn’t.

The boat tour lasted an hour. It went through the canals and by the Little Mermaid, a famously underwhelming attraction. Still, glad to see her sitting on her rock.

The National Museum had articles from all over the world but focused on Denmark. Easily the most popular exhibit was the Viking room. The museum is great for a deep dive into Danish history or just to gaze at a Viking sword.

Come to Copenhagen. Bring money.

Cheers
