Walked from Carlisle to Walton along Hadrian’s Wall Path, twelve miles of beautiful English countryside. There were no obvious Wall relics but the walk was so pleasant it didn’t matter. The sun was out and it was cool.
Met other walkers along the way. One was a female cop from Kent. It is the first time she has attempted a destination walk but she was walking faster than I was but that’s not saying much.
Time to clean up and get a beer from the brewery/B&B where I’m staying, The Old Vicarage. Cool old place on top of a hill.
Cheers
