Flew from Miami to St George’s, Grenada. Grenada is in the southeastern Caribbean. It’s known as the Spice Island because of the spices grown here, nutmeg in particular. Grenada is about the last island in the chain of islands going south towards Venezuela.
On the way from the airport to St George’s, I asked my driver if there are any US warships around. I was kidding but he said yes. With the buildup of US forces to do something in Venezuela or to intimidate Venezuela, I guess it shouldn’t have been a surprise answer.
Staying at an apartment in a building with two apartments. The place has a good view of the harbor below.
Found a restaurant on the harbor and had a good Caribbean meal of goat meat cooked in a curry and coconut milk, rice, cooked green bananas along with a rum punch sprinkled with ground nutmeg. Tasty meal.
