This morning the dogs and I walked to Natural Well, a 186 foot pit that’s popular to rappel. I used to rappel it but haven’t in about ten years. There’s a bunch of fallen rock at the bottom and it’s drippy, especially with as much rain as we’ve had this winter. There’s passage at the bottom but it tapers out and turns into cracks no human can get through. The trail and pit are on state park land.
The walk to and from my house was about 1.6 miles so it was a short outing.
