July 7, 2024 – Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada

Took Caribou Cab to Sylvia Grinnell Territorial Park, about two miles from my place.

The Sylvia Grinnell River runs through the park  and dumps into Frobisher Bay. Walked to where river meets bay.

Nice walk but no wildlife except for ravens, gulls and some small birds. The mosquitoes are out but not too bad.

Walked back to town passing the dump, sewage disposal area and airport. Stopped at the Northmart for some groceries.

Very warm, sunny day. It’s in the 50’s. Lots of locals out sitting on their front steps enjoying the warmth. Some say hello as I walk past.

Cheers
