Drove from Lome to Kpalime, Togo today. Went up the highest peak in Togo, Agou, 968 meters high by our little bus and walking. It was cooler at the top than down in Kpalime where we’re staying.
Met the chief of a village on Agou. He offered us some strong gin that I’m sure could be used to light a fire. Most of us drank a shot. The views from the mountain improved even more.
